OWN POEM BY SAM: THIRD PLACE SHARED POEM BY SAM AND JACOB: PLACED THIRD OUT OF NINETEEN ENTRIES CHOIR: AWARDED GOLD AND SILVER FOR THEIR TWO ENTRIES.

Jun 10 2009	Collection of tokens and vouchers. We participate in schemes organised by Asda, Morrisons, Sainsbury and Tesco. Also we collect Nestlé box top tokens. We are participating in The Times Books for Schools scheme. Collection boxes are located in the entrance hall. Over the years, we have been able to acquire computer and sports related equipment, in addition to books, gardening equipment and science gadgets. Your support with these free schemes is much appreciated.
Jul 15 2009	SCHOOL AND NURSERY BEACH OUTING. We wish to thank MORRISONS for kindly providing choc ices for everyone and THE MAYOR AND MAYORESS for judging the Sandcastle competition.
Jul 29 2009	Quality Mark School is re-awarded the Quality Mark for its work in improving its basic skills for the third time. Schools are assessed for this award every three years.
Sep 1 2009	LUNCH TIME CLUBS. THESE ARE CURRENTLY NOT RUNNING AS OUTDOOR GAMES ARE OFFERED. MRS VICKERY-MILLS WILL BE RUNNING AN INSTRUMENTAL GROUP FOR YEARS 2 TO 6 ON FRIDAY LUNCHTIMES AND A RECORDER GROUP FOR YEARS 3 TO 6 ON TUESDAY LUNCHTIMES; BOTH START AT 12:30 PM.
